All - For those of you using a SPOT and who are also SSA members, you may want to update your SSA profile with your SPOT information. I know we already have the link on the club website for most folks, but it probably would not hurt to also have your link on the SSA website. Below are the instructions! Thx - 3R Home > The SSA > Sailplane Tracker Adding Sailplane Tracking Info to your SSA Profile Creating or updating your personal tracking information is easy. Simply add or update the relevant data in your SSA personal profile area. Login to the SSA website, click on ‘My HomePage’ and click on ‘Profile’ on the right-hand side of the page. Scroll down to ‘Sailplane Information, fill out the fields, and select either the ‘Public’ or ‘Members Only’ option (NOTE: The only difference between the ‘Public’ and ‘Members Only’ option is that the Locator URL link will show ‘Members Only’ instead of ‘Click Here’ for non-member viewers of the Sailplane Locator page. All the other locator information (name, Glider, ID, etc) will still be visible). Click on the ‘TEST’ button to make sure the tracker URL you enter is correct. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Submit’ to update your profile – that’s all there is to it. After a minute or so, your information will show up on the SSA Public Tracker Repository. If you later update your information, the changes will be automatically reflected in the Repository. The current list can be seen at the SSA website here. |
